Getting in to the city

When planning a trip to Amsterdam city center from our hotel, there are several sustainable and efficient options to choose from. One of the best options is to bike, as Amsterdam is known for its bike-friendly streets and extensive network of bike lanes. Not only is this option environmentally friendly, but it also allows you to explore the city at a leisurely pace and take in the sights and sounds of Amsterdam.

Another great option is to take the train, as Naritaweg 51 is located near the Sloterdijk train station, which has regular trains running to the city center about every 5-10 minutes and the train ride takes you to the hearth of the city center in about 8 minutes. This option is fast and reliable, and eliminates the need to find a parking spot in the city.

If biking or taking the train is not an option, another sustainable alternative is to take the bus or tram. There are several bus and tram stops located near our hotel that can take you to the city center. This option is slightly less efficient than biking or taking the train, but it is still a good choice for those who prefer not to walk or bike.

As a last resort, you can also drive to the city center, but this option is not recommended as parking can be a challenge in Amsterdam and with 7 euro per hour not friendly priced. If you do decide to drive, be sure to plan ahead and allow extra time to find parking. a taxi is also possible, we can order one for you, the ride one way to the city center take about 15 minutes and costs about 20 euro.

Overall, taking the train and biking are the most efficient options for traveling to Amsterdam city center from ID Aparthotel. If we can help you with a time schedule or tips on which platform to take the train from, please drop by at the reception desk.
